What a wonderful fiber to spin (or knit) with! Its amazing soft hand lends it to a variety of projects. This roving is easily spun by beginners. There is hardly any need to draft your fiber! And all you expert spinners out there can do this one in your sleep.

Pencil roving offers the spinner the ability to quickly spin "fat singles" - or patiently spin a lace weight yarn. Corriedale felts beautifully as well.

For the Knitters:

You may knit with the unspun roving to achieve a chunky knit project. Many patterns like Fiber Trends call for a size 13 or 15 needle for there felted projects. Pencil Roving has 6 wpi.
